Although Montage Hotels & Resorts acquired The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in December 2013, the celebrated South Carolina resort will officially become Montage Palmetto Bluff in January 2016.
Currently open as The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, a Montage Resort, Montage will debut 150 new guestrooms and suites, bringing the total guestroom count to 200 by fall 2016. Seventy-six of these 150 new rooms will debut in January 2016. The renovation also includes a new main resort building that will house Spa Montage, dining outlets, bar/lounge, library and two pools.
Montage also announced Montage Residences Palmetto Bluff, an enclave of residences within Palmetto Bluff. Currently being developed by The Athens Group, a limited number of Montage Residences Palmetto Bluff will be released when sales commence in January 2016, starting at US$1.2 million. The collection will encompass 35 single-family homes.
