MOHG announces senior management changes

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG), Hong Kong, has announced that Marco Torriani will retire effective Dec. 31.

Torriani, who most recently spent 12 years as general manager at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, is retiring following a 30-year career in the luxury hospitality industry. He joined MOHG in 2000 when the group acquired the Rafael Group of hotels, including Hotel du Rhône in Geneva, where Torriani had been General Manager since 1989.

Torriani will be succeeded by Lars Wagner, who joined MOHG in 2007 as general manager of Mandarin Oriental, Munich. Wolfgang Greiner will succeed Wagner at Mandarin Oriental, Munich from his position as area general manager for three hotels operated by Schloss Fuschl Betriebe GmbH in Salzburg, Austria.
