TPG Hotels & Resorts, a U.S-based hospitality management firm, has appointed Lloyd Van Horn as general manager of Mill Falls at the Lake Resort Collection.
Located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith, N.H., Mill Falls at the Lake Resort Collection offers four distinct accommodations, including Church Landing, a waterfront stay; Bay Point, a 24-room inn at the end of Meredith Bay; Chase House, a 21-room inn across the street from Meredith Bay; and Palmer Inn, a restored nineteenth-century linen mill accommodation.
Van Horn joins Mill Falls with more than three decades of hospitality leadership experience spanning luxury resorts, boutique hotels, private clubs and destination properties throughout the U.S. Most recently, he served as managing director of Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa, where he led its relaunch.
Before Mountain View Grand, Van Horn held leadership positions at Champions Retreat Golf Club, The Partridge Inn, Topnotch Resort, Ocean Reef Club, The Colony Hotel and Montauk Yacht Club. Throughout his career, he has led luxury repositioning initiatives, operational turnarounds and complex ownership transitions.
“Lloyd is a highly respected hospitality leader with a proven ability to build strong teams, elevate the guest experience, and deliver results,” said Patrick Short, president & COO, TPG Hotels & Resorts. “His leadership style, operational expertise, and deep understanding of resort hospitality make him an excellent fit for Mill Falls. We are excited to welcome him to the team as we continue to strengthen the guest experience and build on the property’s strong foundation.”
“Mill Falls has a strong reputation, a talented team, and a unique setting on Lake Winnipesaukee,” said Van Horn. “I’m excited to join the organization and work alongside the team to build on that foundation, create meaningful guest experiences, and continue fostering a culture centered on genuine hospitality.”
