Marriott International announced the construction of a new hotel in Buenos Aires that will join its Autograph Collection once complete. The project is being done in partnership with Pride Developer.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the last quarter of 2026 and will include the restoration of a historic building integrated into a new contemporary structure. The hotel will be located in one of Buenos Aires’ most emblematic cultural corridors, known for its theater, artistic and gastronomic offerings.
The property will span 116,250 square feet and feature 122 suites, ranging from 398 square feet to a presidential suite of more than 1,076 square feet. It will also include a covered culinary space of more than 10,763.9 square feet, with a concept reinterpreting traditional Argentine cuisine led by an Argentine chef with international recognition.

Located near the Obelisk, Teatro Colón, Tribunales, Avenida Corrientes and Teatro General San Martín, the hotel is positioned as an asset for business travelers, international tourists, cultural visitors and investors. The project has an estimated construction timeline of 30 months and Pride Developer will execute the project, which has an estimated construction timeline of 30 months, by Pride Developer under its agreement with Marriott International.
“This initiative represents a milestone in Pride Developer’s strategic plan,” said Maximiliano Mustafá, CEO of Pride Developer. “It allows us to position ourselves in the international hospitality market alongside Marriott, a company with global reach and a brand of enormous prestige. It is a key step within the international expansion plan we are carrying out.”
The historic façade will be preserved as a central feature, while the new tower will incorporate Pride Developer’s design approach, with current lines and noble materials.
“This project reflects the profile of the properties that make up Autograph Collection: hotels with their own character and an experience connected to the place where they are developed,” said Michael Leon Volko, senior director of development for Marriott International for the Caribbean and Latin America. “For Marriott, adding a luxury offering in a strategic location in Buenos Aires allows us to continue strengthening our presence in Argentina and respond to the evolution of the international premium segment.”
Last June, Marriott opened the Recoleta Grand as part of its Tribute Portfolio.
