NORWALK, CONNECTICUT Xerox Corp. has launched a new global marketing campaign that explores how Xerox helps iconic brands, including Marriott Hotels & Resorts, with business process and document management, freeing them to focus on their real business.
One of the print ads shows a red-clad Marriott bellman pushing a cart loaded with papers under the headline, “We focus on automating Marriott’s global invoice process. So they don’t have to.”
The campaign takes brand characters out of their expected roles and shows them doing business processes like invoicing or digitizing documents with exaggerated results. Other brand icons featured in the ad campaign include Procter & Gamble’s Mr. Clean and Bullseye, the canine mascot for Target Corp.
“Xerox transforms the way we work, managing more than 11 million global invoices so we can focus on better serving our guests,” says Susan Thronson, senior vice president of global marketing for Marriott International Inc. “This campaign shows what two customer-centric companies can do when they speed up time-consuming business processes and focus on their core business. For us, that’s providing exceptional guest service. We wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Print, television, Web and airport advertising kick off in the United States on September 7 and in Europe later this year, and are complemented with a rich multimedia experience at RealBusiness.com.
