Mandarin Oriental introduced Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, welcoming its first guests this month. The resort is located on the island’s southwest coastline in Calvià near Puerto Portals. It is the third Mandarin Oriental property in Spain, following Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, and Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid.
The resort occupies the site of the historic Hotel Punta Negra, framed by Aleppo pine trees, coves and Mediterranean views. The property features 131 rooms and suites, dining destinations, a wellness sanctuary and leisure and cultural experiences.
Guests may arrive via a private yacht transfer service. The resort offers an art pathway connecting galleries and site-specific installations along with access to golf courses and cycling routes across the island. The property also offers tennis by the sea and yoga sessions overlooking Punta Negra’s coastline.

The resort’s dining program features chefs who each express a distinct identity with restaurants serving their combinations of flavors and textures.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, blends Mediterranean and Oriental influences.
To celebrate the opening, the resort introduced a “Be the First to Stay” accommodation package priced from €1,500 per night for two people. The package includes two nights’ accommodation, a welcome cocktail, a local gift, daily breakfast and a daily credit toward a dining experience or spa treatment.
