M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is taking reservations from December 2026. The 263-room hotel is a new addition to Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ M Social brand. It is located within a mixed-use development with access to a man-made lake, a Sunnyvale city landmark.
“M Social Hotel Sunnyvale marks an important milestone in the growth of the M Social brand and reflects our confidence in Silicon Valley as one of the world’s most dynamic innovation hubs,” said Kwek Eik Sheng, executive director of Millennium Hotels and Resorts. “As travel and guest expectations continue to evolve, we saw an opportunity to create a hotel that goes beyond accommodation to become a vibrant lifestyle destination that reflects Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit. We believe M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is well positioned to create sustainable value for our guests, owners, partners and the wider community.”

BDE Architecture and Mazzarini & Co. designed the hotel. Rather than centring on a formal lobby, the property unfolds through social spaces defined by lounge seating, flexible gathering areas and collaborative workspaces.
The hotel is built to LEED Gold standards and has a connected smart-building ecosystem. Technologies include mobile room keys, self-service check-in kiosks and robotic service assistants. Aiello, an in-room AI personal assistant, handles personalised requests, provides recommendations and offers real-time assistance.
“At M Social Hotel Sunnyvale, we set out to create a welcoming gathering place,” said Jakub Skyvara, general manager of M Social Hotel Sunnyvale. “It is more than a hotel; it is a vibrant gathering place where travellers, creators, entrepreneurs, and the local community can connect, collaborate, and be inspired.”

The design of the 263 guest rooms and suites features a clean, contemporary aesthetic. They support business travellers, extended stays and leisure guests.
The food and beverage philosophy is centred on “Fire, Flavour, Connection.” Beast & Butterflies is the signature restaurant, with a rooftop beehive. ctrl+B(ar) is a lounge offering coffee, signature cocktails, California wines and light bites. Byte+Hub Market is a self-service grab-and-go concept.
The hotel has approximately 28,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meetings and events space. The Quantum Ballroom measures 6,600 square feet and has 20-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a 12-by-40-foot LED video wall. Meeting rooms have 75-inch vibe boards that function as digital flipcharts with video conferencing and screen sharing. A dedicated staging suite supports speaker preparation, bridal staging and event operations.
Other venues include The Hub, which can be configured for breakout sessions and trainings, and The Grove, an outdoor courtyard for receptions, networking sessions and evening gatherings. The Commons is a 10,000-square-foot outdoor space for large-scale activations and community occasions.
