ENGLAND Cypriot businessman Loucas Louca has bought a pair of hotels owned by Beetham Organization, in Liverpool and Manchester, out of administration.
Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool and Hilton Manchester Deansgate have been acquired from KPMG by Louca for an undisclosed price. Louca acquired the hotel businesses through Blue Liverpool and Blue Manchester, new companies that were incorporated in October and for which he is the only listed director.
“We are delighted to announce the sale of the businesses, with no disruption to day-to-day operations and no job losses,” says Brian Green, a joint administrator at KPMG. “Hilton Worldwide and Radisson are continuing to manage the day-to-day operations at the iconic hotels in Liverpool and Manchester.”
