U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly struggled to find a hotel room for this weekend’s G20 Summit in Hamburg. He could have stayed at his namesake suite — created, tongue firmly planted in cheek, just for the Summit at the 25hours Hotel Altes Hafenamt Hamburg.

Don’t try to book the suite directly though – it’s not available via the hotel’s website. Instead, the Trump suite will go to the highest bidder on eBay. Bidding starts at €125 (US$142) for two nights, Friday through Saturday, and includes breakfast, dinner, and a welcome drink.
In addition to general opulence and pizzazz, the suite offers more whimsical touches like a golden hairdryer (complete with instructions for maximum bouffant), dollar bill toilet paper, a blonde tableside wig, and a welcome gift: Mexican chocolate.

25hours recently sold a 30% stake in the company to AccorHotels as part of a strategic partnership to grow the brand globally. It is also expanding its internal development structures and establishing a creative laboratory. We can see they have been hard at work.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the climate protection organization Klima ohne Grenzen.

“The offer is very great and everyone should bid bigly,” said 25hours Brand Officer Bruno Marti.
