Life House grows portfolio with two additions in Mexico

Life House, the tech-enabled management company, has added two more properties in Mexico to its portfolio of more than 65 independent hotels.

The two new additions are — Faisano Nomadas and The Carmen. With these two new additions, Life House now manages five independent hotels in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.

Located directly on the beach in Playa del Carmen, The Carmen is a 37-room hotel that caters to adults. Built-in 2017, the hotel offers views of the Caribbean from its rooftop bar and lounge. The hotel also features an Italian restaurant on the ground floor. The property is owned by a long-time, Denver-based developer.

Faisano Nomadas, located in the heart of Aldea Zama, was designed to be a destination by itself. The property offers 24 rooms, a resort-style pool and a bar serving a specialized menu. The hotel’s developers Francisco Mendoza and Gustavo Acosta are hotel owners and strategic growth partners for Life House in Mexico.

“Working with Life House has been really exciting. They have been supporting our project with all their experience and knowledge as we are not hotel operators, we are just investors trying to develop a profitable business with a great customer experience for our guests. Life House has experienced specialists in all operating areas who are guiding us in this journey and giving us the structure needed in order to achieve our goals,” said Mendoza.

Founded in 2017 by real estate, hospitality and technology veterans, Life House is a vertically integrated hotel management and technology company that focuses on serving small and medium independent hotels. The company is uniquely positioned to manage leisure-oriented smaller properties in Mexico.

The company is investing in its operational systems to make its properties more profitable, seamless and predictable for owners. Currently, the company operates around 70 hotels across North America.
