Leonardo Hotel Group announced The Manor Amsterdam, a Leonardo Limited Edition property and its ninth hotel in Amsterdam, opens June 9, 2026, in the Amsterdam-Oost district.
The building dates to 1891, originally constructed as one of the Netherlands’ most advanced civilian hospitals. Designed by architect A.L. van Gendt, also known for the Concertgebouw, the structure later served as a district office for marriage ceremonies before being restored and converted into a hotel. Original features, including restored staircases, were preserved alongside contemporary design elements.
The hotel offers 125 guest rooms across five categories: Superior King, Superior Twin, Family Room, Triple and Junior Suite. Rooms include soft cotton bedding, walk-in showers with amenities from Jean & Len and a welcome tray with tea, coffee capsules, sugar and milk. Room rates start at £163 per night.

At the property’s center is Pepe Nero, an Italian restaurant and bar by Daniele Lauritano, open to the public since April 3 for dinner. The menu includes antipasti, primi, secondi and desserts. Breakfast is available to hotel guests and outside visitors for £25. A 24/7 self-service market is available for guests throughout the day. Additional amenities include a gym, meeting rooms, guest parking at €37.50 per night and 24-hour front desk service.
“With this opening, following the successful integration of Eden Hotels in 2024, we are proud to continue strengthening Leonardo Hotel Group’s presence in the Benelux while remaining ambitious about future growth opportunities and strategic partnerships both within and beyond the region,” said Alexander Kluit, managing director of Leonardo Hotels Benelux.
Globally, Leonardo Hotel Group operates more than 300 hotels across Europe with 52,000 rooms. The Benelux portfolio includes 28 hotels — 26 in the Netherlands and two in Belgium.
