Las Ventanas reduces the hassle factor

Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood-operated resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, owned by Beanie Baby mogul Ty Warner, is trying to further differentiate itself from its local luxury competitors by further reducing the hassle factor of travel. Now, the hotel’s “airport hosts” are certified with the local airport, which allows them to escort guests through the actual security process and then on to its new private VIP airport lounge.

“We’ve significantly reduced time spent with airport procedures, allowing our guests to instead relax in luxury with premium beverages and delicious snacks,” said the hotel’s Managing Director Martein van Wagenberg.

For a US$20 fee, the new lounge, located in Terminal #1, offers Wi-Fi and unlimited light dining and beverages, including alcoholic beverages. A similar lounge is expected to open in Terminal #2 in November.
