KSL Resorts names Greg Kennealey as new CEO

KSL Resorts has announced a new CEO. Greg Kennealey has been named the company’s CEO.

In his new role, Kennealey will lead KSL’s operation, development and strategic direction and the company’s portfolio of resorts. He has nearly 30 years of experience in business and hospitality.

He will be taking over from Scott Dalecio, who will step down as CEO but continue as a senior advisor to KSL and executive chairman of Outrigger Resorts & Hotels, which KSL acquired in 2016.

Kennealey has earlier served as the principal and head of hospitality at KSL Capital Partners, a global company involved in hospitality, travel and leisure investing. Kennealey was also the former CEO of Mission Hill Hospitality, since the company was founded in 2021.

Before his 10-year tenure at KSL Capital Partners, Kennealey worked at Strategic Hotels & Resorts, where he was in charge of a global portfolio of luxury hotels.

“I am deeply honored and humbled to follow the successful leadership of Scott Dalecio and to continue the legacy he has built for three decades overseeing many iconic resorts,” said Kennealey. “I look forward to collaborating with our very talented team as we focus on expanding our portfolio as well as working to boost operational efficiencies and innovation.”

A full-service hospitality company, KSL manages destination resorts, hotels and clubs, with many offering recreational amenities such as golf, spa, tennis, ski and beach locations.
