Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort names managing director

Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort in Hawaii has appointed Tracy Stoltz as managing director. Stoltz brings extensive experience leading luxury and full-service resorts across the United States and international markets and joins Kona Village from The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort in Vail, Colo., where she most recently served as general manager.

Stoltz’s career spans global brands including Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, with senior leadership roles across landmark properties in North America, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. She also previously served as owner liaison at Point Grace in the Turks and Caicos Islands and as general manager of Grand Isle Resort & Spa in Great Exuma, Bahamas, where she oversaw a $240 million development project.

“Tracy’s breadth of experience across luxury hospitality, from international island resorts to premier mountain destinations, makes her an exceptional leader for Kona Village. We believe her commitment to meaningful guest experiences and her record of operational distinction will allow her to be a natural steward for this much-beloved property,” said Jillian Katcher, VP of operations, Americas, Rosewood Hotel Group.

Stoltz has also held key leadership roles at The Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Waikiki Resort, The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas, Sheraton Maui Resort and The Westin Maui Resort and Spa.

“It is a profound privilege to join the ‘ohana at Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort. The property carries an extraordinary legacy, one built on a deep respect for the land, the culture, and the many generations who have called Ka’ūpūlehu home,” said Stoltz. “I am honored to help continue that story alongside a team so genuinely committed to sharing the spirit of this place with every guest.”
