Kempinski appoints board member Andrea Vanni as CFO

Kempinski Group has announced the appointment of Andrea Vanni as chief financial officer, who brings over 25 years of expertise in the European luxury real estate industry.

Serving as a board member for Kempinski A.G. for over 3 years, Vanni’s experience spans debt and equity capital solutions for the real estate sector, having held senior roles at investment and asset management global companies J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank, before founding his own real estate finance and development companies, focused on luxury real estate and hospitality.

“As a valued member of our Supervisory Board and a recognised authority in real estate investment
and development, Andrea is keenly attuned to driving profitability for owners and investors. His appointment will strengthen our financial framework, enhancing the performance of our hotels and delivering returns for our owners, which remain central to our strategy. Simultaneously, he will enable growth opportunities across targeted acquisitions, management contracts, branded residences and brand debuts in priority and emerging markets,” said René Nijhof, chairman, board of directors, Kempinski Hotels.

Kempinski currently operates 74 properties in 33 countries around the world, with more than 20 projects under development.
