JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa has appointed Simone Farci as general manager.
With over two decades of international hospitality experience across Europe and the Caribbean, Farci brings a background in complex resort management, hotel openings, repositioning projects and organizational transformation to his new role. He joins JW Marriott Venice from InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace, where he most recently served as general manager.
Farci spent more than 10 years at IHG Hotels and Resorts leading properties across the world, including general manager positions at the InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa and Holiday Inn Resort Aruba – Beach Resort & Casino by IHG.
Opened in 2015, the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa features 266 rooms and suites, four restaurants and bars offering international and local cuisine, the JW Venice Spa, a deconsecrated church for scenic events, a kids’ club and family activities, water sports and a rooftop lounge with a pool and views of Venice.
