InterContinental Boston has appointed Shane McWeeny as its new general manager.
McWeeny brings more than 25 years of hospitality leadership experience across luxury, lifestyle and large-scale urban hotels. He most recently served as general manager at Hotel Commonwealth and has held senior leadership roles at Boston Park Plaza, The Lenox Hotel, The Beverly Hills Hotel (Dorchester Collection), The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common, Hyatt and other independent properties.

Beyond his professional achievements, McWeeny is deeply involved in the hospitality community, serving on the Massachusetts Lodging Association and championing initiatives focused on sustainability, technology innovation and community partnerships.
