Inn at Perry Cabin announces new GM

Inn at Perry Cabin, a waterfront resort in St. Michaels, Md., has appointed Kurt Berman as general manager.

A luxury hospitality veteran with nearly three decades of international hospitality experience, Berman arrives at the property following leadership positions across Iceland, Thailand, China, the Maldives, Seychelles, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Berman joins Inn at Perry Cabin from Eleven Deplar Farm in Iceland. Previously, he served as VP of hospitality at Sundance Mountain Resort in Utah and CEO of Ropeswing Hospitality Group in Bentonville, Arkansas. His earlier career includes leadership roles with Samujana in Thailand, Six Senses in the Maldives, Frégate Island Private in the Seychelles and Rosewood in the Caribbean.

“I am thrilled to join the team at Inn at Perry Cabin, leading a resort defined by such a rich history and celebrated nautical heritage,” said \Berman. “We look forward to building on this legacy while elevating guest experiences that reflect the unique character of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, from our signature sailing adventures to a refreshed culinary identity inspired by the Chesapeake Bay.”

Set on 26 acres along the Miles River, the 78-room resort offers Eastern Shore experiences spanning sailing, regionally inspired dining, wellness programs and championship golf at the Pete Dye-designed Links at Perry Cabin.
