EVEN Hotels, the upscale, select-service and wellness-focused brand by IHG Hotels & Resorts, is celebrating its expansion and positive response from guests and owners after introducing a reimagined prototype and brand identity.
The brand will open seven more properties in the U.S. by the end of 2024, expanding its presence in the country by around 40% while integrating elements of its new look and offerings across its portfolio.
Featuring a flexible design that will complement newly built, conversion and renovated properties, EVEN Hotels’ new prototype seeks to lower costs to build and operate for owners, compared to its previous models, while incorporating travelers’ wellness requirements and routines.

The brand adds wellness touches across the guest experience. This includes three room types with exercise options ranging from light equipment to fitness walls or spin bikes. Properties also include spa-like showers, complimentary nightly tea service, signature sleep experience, dimmable lighting and pillowtop mattresses.
EVEN Hotel Charlotte, the recently signed property, will be the first to feature the brand’s new design prototype when it opens in late 2025. Located near the Charlotte Douglas International Airport in a mixed-use project owned by hotel owner and manager Royal Panthers, the hotel will have 131 rooms, around 1,700 square feet of meeting and event space and the brand’s signature Athletic Studio.
The hotel will also feature the EVEN Kitchen & Bar custom restaurant concept and a neighboring 24/7 market with grab-and-go options.

The brand is set to open the following properties across the U.S.:
- EVEN Hotel Austin Uptown — Slated to open by the end of the year, the hotel is adjacent to The Domain mixed-use project in Austin.
- EVEN Hotel Waco – University Area — This second property in Texas is scheduled to open later this year and will feature 132 rooms.
- EVEN Hotel’s third property in the Northwest Pacific will also open this year in Beaverton, Ore. The hotel will join the brand’s other hotels in Seattle and Eugene, Ore. Another hotel in the northwest U.S. in Bozeman, Mont., is under construction and is slated to open in 2024.
- EVEN Hotels is looking to grow its presence in Florida with recent groundbreakings in Orlando and Miami’s Sweetwater–Doral neighborhood ahead of its planned opening in 2024.
“With more than 50 open or in pipeline global properties, EVEN Hotels is poised to capture a greater share of travelers wishing to stay well – however they define it – in the future. We’re encouraged at how the evolution of our brand and on-site offerings has resonated with guests and owners so far. We look forward to bringing the EVEN Hotels experience and our vision for flexible, wellness-minded travel to more markets,” said Raul Ortiz, VP, global marketing and brand management for EVEN Hotels.
