IHG signs 5-year integrated marketing partnership with PGA Tour

ATLANTA The world’s premier professional golf tour and the world’s largest hotel company have entered into a five-year integrated marketing partnership that will make IHG an official partner of the PGA Tour and its affiliated Champions and Nationwide tours,.

As an official marketing partner of the PGA Tour, IHG will provide a variety of benefits to players, including a designated number of room nights for players, platinum status in the Priority Club Rewards loyalty program for all tour members and preferred rates for players and media partners across all of IHG’s brands.

Additionally, several players will make personal appearances with IHG guests at tournaments in exchange for extra complimentary room nights.

IHG’s Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts brand will extend its title sponsorship of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial golf tournament through 2015. Crowne Plaza has served as title sponsor of the historic event since 2007.
