Grupo Iberostar announced on Wednesday that it is segmenting its Iberostar Hotels & Resorts portfolio into four different categories: Iberostar The Grand Collection, Iberostar Premium Gold, Iberostar Premium and Iberostar.
Iberostar The Grand Collection are 5-star and all adult-only with the exception of Iberostar Grand Hotel Mencey, located in Tenerife, Spain, and Iberostar Grand Hotel Budapest, located in Budapest, Hungary. Iberostar Premium Gold is 5-star properties for families while Iberostar Premium is 5-star and 4-star hotels for families and couples and Iberostar is for budget-conscious travelers.
“This segmentation aligns with our standards in terms of product, service and enjoyment at Iberostar properties worldwide,” said Luis Hérault, Grupo Iberostar’s chief marketing officer. “Within these four categories, we guarantee ‘star’ service for any budget. We have worked on this segmentation alongside our main operators and channels and together have established a classification that works best across our properties.”
Grupo Iberostar, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, operates 100 hotels under the Iberostar Hotels & Resorts brand in 15 countries.
