HQ Hotels & Residences by sbe announced plans for HQ Cas En Bas Resort and Residences, a $130-million development in Saint Lucia scheduled to open in November 2026. The project is being developed in partnership with UK-based Wellington Estates and will operate as a Registry Collection hotel under Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
The development will comprise 96 freehold studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments bordering one of the longest swimming pools on the island. Preliminary planning has been granted for an additional 82 residences on an adjacent plot, bringing the total to 178 keys. The development is already more than 90% sold and is expected to generate up to 300 permanent jobs. Food and beverage outlets will include Katsuya Beach, Umami Burger and a casual Italian dining concept by Michelin-starred Chef Fabio Trabocchi.

The property is situated within Cap Estate on the northern tip of Saint Lucia, less than 10 minutes from Rodney Bay and adjacent to the 18-hole championship course at St. Lucia Golf & Country Club.
