Hotel Equities announced the opening of Kimpton Tres Ríos All Inclusive, a 355-room resort set within a 340-acre nature preserve in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. The opening marks the company’s entry into the all-inclusive segment and expands its portfolio in the Caribbean and Latin America.
The resort is located along the Cancún-Tulum corridor in Playa del Carmen. Rooms range from mangrove-view rooms to multi-bedroom suites and a presidential suite, with many offering direct pool access. The property includes seven restaurants and five bars, among them Bacetto and Kotori. Six restaurants and four bars are scheduled to open this fall, with Elaia and Nebbia scheduled for early 2027. Additional amenities include a 10,000-square-foot spa, a two-story fitness center, four outdoor pools, a children’s program called Club Aventuras and access to three freshwater rivers and 10 cenotes within the surrounding preserve. Dogs weighing up to 23 kilograms are permitted for an additional fee.
“The addition of Kimpton Tres Ríos to our portfolio illustrates the depth of expertise we’ve built into our dedicated CALA platform and our ability to deliver the specialized operating approach a resort of this scale requires,” said Juan Corvinos, president of HE CALA. “All-inclusive operations run on a different model, from managing high-volume F&B to pricing strategy, to delivering a seamless guest experience across a full stay. Our team led by general manager Jorge Martinez with MariCarmen Gutierrez as the director of sales & marketing and Gabriel Kolofon as the director of Culinary brings the expertise and market knowledge needed to successfully navigate that complexity.”
“Kimpton Tres Ríos represents a significant investment in one of the Riviera Maya’s most extraordinary natural settings, set among cenotes, rivers and landscape unlike anywhere else in the region,” said Daniel Arroyo, owner of Kimpton Tres Ríos. “In Hotel Equities, we found a partner with a locally led operating platform and the regional infrastructure to manage a property of this scale, and the operating discipline to guide the opening of the first All-Inclusive by Kimpton and thus protect our investment for the long term.”
Hotel Equities’ CALA portfolio also includes properties in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos and Uruguay.
