Spanish fashion designer Cortana has designed custom staff uniforms slated to debut in September at Hotel Arts Barcelona.
The uniforms aim to reflect the Mediterranean with splashes of green, turquoise and tan. They are made of natural materials including cotton and wool and embrace a relaxed style.
“I hope that the casual yet sophisticated look of the designs will help to bridge the gap between hotel staff and guests,” said General Manager Rivero Delgado.
“The inspiration comes from the hotel setting, the beach and the different shades of blue in the water, elements that a city open to the sea transmits and what the Mediterranean culture represents and has represented in the past,” added Cortana’s head designer Rosa Esteva.
