Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar — featuring 36 villas, two restaurants, a spa and fitness center, free-form swimming pool, kids club and private beach has officially opened on the Saudi Arabian coast.
The resort, owned by Al-Mohaisen Sons Holding Co., is the ninth hotel to be opened by Zurich-based Mövenpick in Saudi Arabia.
The villas each boast three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a state-of-the-art kitchen, spacious living and dining rooms and service quarters.
One of the property’s restaurants, Azure, serves contemporary gourmet seafood in a Mediterranean-style lounge atmosphere with views of the resort’s private marina. The Clubhouse, meanwhile, offers all-day dining and à la carte options for a snack or relaxing meal. Within The Clubhouse is the Retreat Wellness Center & Spa featuring separate rooms for men and women as well as European beauty treatments, private massage, sauna, steam rooms and a fitness area with modern gym equipment.
The resort includes a swimming pool as well as a separate, private pool area for children. A kids club with fully trained attendants offers a range of games and activities as well as a children’s dining menu.
Complimentary Wi-Fi coverage is available throughout the resort, and there are also dedicated conference and banquet facilities.
Mövenpick Beach Resort Al Khobar is 45 minutes from Dammam International Airport and 25 minutes from the shopping outlets and entertainment options of Al Khobar and the King Fahad Causeway to Bahrain.
