Sofitel Luxury Hotels has opened its second property under the Sofitel So label: Sofitel So Bangkok.
The hotel’s 238 guestrooms and suites reflect the elements of water, earth, wood, and metal. Each room is equipped with an Apple Mac mini computer. The design team includes Smith Obayawat, five well-known Thai interior designers, and Christian Lacroix.
The property incorporates the element of fire through its food and beverage offerings, which include two restaurants, two bars and a chocolate boutique. Red Oven serves market-style fare with a contemporary twist, while Park Society Restaurant & Bar overlooks the city and offers private cabanas in its HI SO section. The Chocolab sells hand-made chocolates and other fresh candies.
The property also features So FIT, an infinity swimming pool, and So SPA, as well as four meeting rooms and a ballroom.
