Orascom Development has opened its first hotel in Oman, The Sifawy in Jebel Sifah.
Designed by Italian designer Alfredo Freda, The Sifawy offers 55 guestrooms including 30 suites as well as 25 serviced apartments. The guestrooms feature three unique color schemes — blue, green and magenta — and all boast private balconies with views of the marina and swimming pool.
F&B outlets include the all-day dining restaurant Al Sabla, focused on both international and regional flavors; As Sammak, serving locally sourced seafood; The Captain’s Lounge & Bar, offering music and entertainment in the evening; and Breeze Bar beside the pool.
Jebel Sifah boasts sandy white beaches on the Arabian Sea with the Hajjar mountain range as a backdrop. The Sifawy is located in the heart of the picturesque marina town and less than an hour’s drive from Oman’s capital city of Muscat and its international airport.
