Peppers has expanded its network of New Zealand properties with the debut of Peppers Parehua Country Estate in the heart of the Martinborough wine region, about a one-hour drive from Wellington.
The property features 30 suites, villas and cottages. Each cottage has its own sitting area with fireplace and private deck in addition to a full kitchen, king-size bed and large spa bath.
Set within park-like gardens with a private, willow-fringed lake, the estate overlooks a panorama of countryside to the Tararua ranges. A host of wineries, golfing, horse trekking, boating, quad biking, coastal walks and fishing are all within easy reach.
The property also boasts Green Globe registration, the worldwide sustainability benchmarking and certification system for the travel and tourism industry. “The estate is set within a beautiful location where the environment is valued and considered paramount for our guests,” said Peppers Regional General Manager – New Zealand Ken Harris.
