JW Marriott Marquis Dubai opened in November, and it will hold the title of World’s Tallest Hotel in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The 1,164-ft-tall (355-m-tall) property, which is owned by Emirates Group, is the first JW Marriott Marquis outside of North America.
At present, the hotel has 804 guestrooms; a second tower with an additional 804 guestrooms will open next year.
With a particular focus on MICE, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai offers more than 80,000 sq ft (7,500 sq m) of indoor and outdoor event space, including the pool deck.
The hotel has nine restaurants, and five bars and lounges. Prime 68 is a steakhouse, while Izakaya serves sushi and the cocktail bar Vault offers views from the 71st and 72nd floors. Rang Mahal by Atul Kochhar serves Indian fare. On the 7th floor, which has a pool deck and a swimming pool, the Aqua Poolside Bar and Grill serves light snacks and beverages inspired by Miami’s South Beach.
The Saray Spa and Health Club offers a menu of treatments inspired by the silk route, including options like an Arabic Coffee Awakener or the Lemon Mint Body Polish.
