Jumeirah Group has opened its first European resort: Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Mallorca, Spain.
The property has 120 rooms and suites, two restaurants, four bars, two swimming pools and a spa.
The hotel is divided into 11 low-rise buildings that are designed to work well with the landscape. The interior design features different shades of beige and earth tones along with local woods such as olive and pine, local crafts and architecture, and spacious rooms with large windows that overlook the sea, mountains, or harbor.
Talise Spa at Jumeirah Port Soller offers views over the Port of Sóller and the Sierra de Tramuntana. The 23,680-square-foot (2,200-square-meter) spa has 10 treatment suites, an ice room, a glass-paneled sauna that overlooks the valley, a relaxation room with a fireplace, a therman area with a Hammam, and an outdoor heated Hydropool.
Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa offers two restaurants: Es Fanals and Cap Roig. The latter uses fresh seasonal products in cuisine with a strong local influence.
Barbaroja Kids Club offers activities for travelers aged 3 to 12; the resort also offers guided tours and cooking classes for teenagers and adults.
The clifftop resort overlooks the bay of Sóller, with opportunities for exploring the island by foot or mountain bike.
