Hostel brand Generator recently opened adjacent to the Norra Bantorget Square in Stockholm. Designed by Design Agency, the 11-floor property includes 796 beds in 233 rooms aimed to offer travelers an “experiential destination” with its micro-chic accommodations and vibrant spaces that reflect the city’s culture.

The lobby features pops of color and oversized pendant lighting, which is intended to attract guests to gather and interact. The First Floor is a “chilled out” lounge and communal workspace featuring work tables, power and data points.
Accommodations include suites, premium private rooms and shared hostel lodging, all with en-suite bathrooms. A café and bar that is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a standalone restaurant serving global street food with a Scandinavian touch is set to open later this year.
“The combination of affordable accommodation, innovative design and vibrant social spaces is something that there is just not enough of in Stockholm and it will be a pleasure to lead our talented team to further success Generator,” said Alexander Bhatt, general manager at Generator Stockholm.
