Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai is now open in the city’s Lujiazhui business district.
The 187-key property is located in the 55-story 21st Century Tower. The interior design is inspired by the Art Deco period, which saw Shanghai’s Golden Age.
Guestrooms and suites include a residential-style private bar with the ingredients to make signature cocktails.
Shàng-xi restaurant offers Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisine with à la carte and dim sum menus. The restaurant includes five private dining rooms with décor inspired by gemstones such as pearl, amber, and purple jade.
Camelia restaurant offers both inside seating and a terrace and serves afternoon tea with sweets from Pastry Chef Nicolas Maugard. Restaurant Chef Benjamin Brial presides over the all-day service at Camelia, while Sommelier Ying Guo handles wines and an extensive list of Champagnes. Both Brial and the hotel’s executive chef, Weimar Gomez, previously worked at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris’ restaurant, which holds two Michelin stars.
The Flare spa includes two VIP suites, four treatment rooms, a 24-hour fitness studio and an indoor lap pool with skyline views.
Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai also offers 8,611 sq ft (800 sq m) of meeting space, including four salons, a boardroom and a ballroom. The Executive Club on the 35th floor serves breakfast and light fare throughout the day and has a private boardroom and dedicated concierge.
