Hilton Worldwide has brought its Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand to London with the opening of the Conrad London St. James.
The hotel’s styling reflects its location close to the heart of political London. A Tom Clarke sculpture forms a focal point in the lobby. In the rest of the hotel, that political awareness is carried out with a typically English cheekiness. 3D caricatures by Gerald Scarfe, Martin Rowson and Simon Bingle set the tone.
However, the 256-key property also has a more serious side. A contemporary art collection adds gravitas to the urban-chic design. The hotel also offers two restaurants, the Blue Boar and Emmeline’s. A fitness center and meeting space round out the property.
