Hot Openings: Apple Tree Asia opens hotel in Myanmar

Apple Tree Asia opened Bagan Lodge in Myanmar in August.

The 85-room resort is located near Bagan Archaeological Zone and features interiors from French designer Brigitte Dumont de Chassart. Chassart combined traditional Burmese design, contemporary décor and colonial-era elements to furnish the property.

Amenities include an open-air restaurant, a spa with private treatment rooms, and a swimming pool. The resort also features a full-service travel desk that offers activities like private temple dinners and pagoda tours.
