The Honey Baked Ham Co. is making operational changes with the goal of reducing lines at its retail stores in the week before Easter Sunday in response to the national coronavirus pandemic.
The Atlanta-based ham processor and retailer is offering special shopping hours for seniors between March 30 and April 6 and providing coupons for $10 in savings for customers who visit a Honey Baked Ham store for early pick-up between April 3-8. Retail stores also will continue social distancing practices inside stores, including possible limits on the number of customers inside the stores at one time, Honey Baked said in a news release.
The company also is offering its Easter hams through the Uber Eats delivery service starting March 31 and will continue to offer direct-to-door delivery through its online ordering system. Online orders must be submitted by April 8 to ensure that the products arrive in time for Easter April 12, Honey Baked added.
