MCLEAN, VIRGINIA Hilton Worldwide announces a three-year commitment to be the official hotel partner of Little League Baseball and Softball. Little League families, friends and volunteers can receive a 15% discount on stays when booking at any of Hilton’s family of brands, and Hilton will contribute a portion of revenue to Little League.
“Through this partnership we feel privileged to be able to provide Little League teams and their families with a variety of comfortable stays at our family-friendly properties around the globe, no matter where the ballgames are being held,” says Paul Brown, president of global brands and commercial services for Hilton Worldwide.
Hilton has set up a microsite at HHonors.com/LittleLeague to book the discounted rate.
The 2010 Little League Baseball World Series begins in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Friday. Hilton representatives will be on site to sign up members to Hilton HHonors and to offer a series of contests and sweepstakes.
A grand prize winner of a text-to-win sweepstakes will enjoy a complimentary five-night stay at any hotel within the Hilton portfolio of brands. Other prizes include one-night stays at hotels around the globe.
