Crescent Hotels & Resorts has added Hilton Short Hills in New Jersey to its portfolio, expanding the company’s Hilton-affiliated presence in the Greater New York area.
The 314-room Hilton Short Hills has more than 21,000 square feet of flexible event space across 13 meeting rooms. The event space includes a 5,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom with 18-foot ceilings and crystal chandeliers.
The hotel is directly across from The Mall at Short Hills and is minutes from the business corridors of Morristown and Parsippany.
Newark Liberty International Airport is 13 miles away.
The property’s dining program includes The Dining Room, which serves breakfast and lunch, and The Retreat Bar & Rooftop, an open-air venue with fire pit seating and rooftop views that draws both guests and the surrounding community. Additional amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, an executive lounge and a tented outdoor pavilion with woodland views that has earned recognition as a destination for weddings and events.
Positioned on the edge of Essex County, N.J., the property benefits from leisure demand tied to The Mall at Short Hills, which houses more than 160 retailers, including Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale’s. The hotel is also near the Paper Mill Playhouse and the New Jersey Center for the Performing Arts.
