Hilton promo aims to attract LGBT travelers

Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide, is offering a new “Stay Hilton. Go Out.” package at more than 140 properties worldwide to cater to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) travelers and their friends.

The package, available via hilton.com/GoOut, offers reduced room rates, double Hilton HHonors points, free high-speed Internet, late checkout when available and a free one-year digital subscription to gay magazine Out. Visitors to the site through April 29 also can enter to win a trip to Gay Days Orlando. Hilton Hotels & Resorts is the official hotel partner of several high-profile LGBT events, including Gay Days Orlando and WorldPride 2012 in London.

“Whether attending celebrations close to home or in top destinations around the world, Pride season is a peak travel period for our LGBT guests,” said Dave Horton, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts. “Our offer extends a warm welcome during this special time and is an extension of our presence at top community events.”
