Hilton New York Fashion District unveils full renovation

The Hilton New York Fashion District has completed a full property renovation, unveiling updated guestrooms, meeting areas and public spaces inspired by the creative energy of a designer’s studio. The 280-room hotel sits in the heart of Manhattan’s Fashion District, across from the Fashion Institute of Technology and near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden.

“We designed every detail of this renovation with our guests in mind — those who come to New York to be inspired, energized, and connected to the city’s cultural pulse,” said Joseph D’Angelo, area general manager of the Hilton New York Fashion District. “From fashion-inspired art to reimagined common areas, this property refresh brings a unique, locally relevant experience to travelers seeking something beyond the ordinary, no matter where they are in our hotel.”

Design elements throughout the hotel reflect the look and feel of a fashion designer’s workspace. Guestrooms feature wall coverings styled like fabric swatches and desks adorned with design sketches. Meeting spaces have been renamed “Haute Hub” and “Runway” to reinforce the fashion theme.

The hotel also offers modern amenities including a 24-hour fitness center, business center, free high-speed Wi-Fi and in-room dining. Guests have access to rooftop views and dining options like Sandbar Rooftop and Chelsea Table and Stage, which includes live music programming.

The renovation was overseen by Aimbridge Hospitality, which manages the hotel. The project was led by Aimbridge’s Design & Construction team under Denise Pickles and completed by design firm Gensler.
