Hilton Grand Vacations, Great Wolf Lodge partner for family travel experiences

Hilton Grand Vacations, the vacation ownership and experiences company, has teamed up with Great Wolf Lodge, the owner and operator of North America’s indoor water park resorts, to offer more family travel options for guests and members of both the companies.

Members of Hilton Grand Vacations who are exploring quick drive-to, family getaway options will now be able to exchange club points for stays at 19 Great Wolf Lodge locations in the U.S. The partnership will also introduce guests of the indoor water park resorts to the benefits of vacation ownership.

The partnership with Great Wolf Lodge builds on a key component of Hilton Grand Vacations’ plan to strengthen its relationships with existing members and attract new customers. The partnership will help Hilton Grand Vacations expand its experiential travel offerings, especially catering to families with young children.

Scheduled to start this summer, members of Hilton Grand Vacations will be able to book vacations at Great Wolf Lodge properties using their club points. On the other hand, Great Wolf Lodge guests can receive curated offers to explore Hilton Grand Vacations’ portfolio of resorts.

“At Hilton Grand Vacations, we’re more focused than ever on offering unparalleled experiential travel offerings for our members. We’re looking forward to working alongside a company with such a development trajectory and complementary offerings for our members,” said Mark Wang, CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations.

The partnership follows Hilton Grand Vacation’s acquisition of Bluegreen Vacations for $1.5 billion, which closed in January. The acquisition has helped Hilton Grand Vacations grow its portfolio to around 200 properties, including in 14 new markets and eight new states.

Hilton Grand Vacations offers experiential travel through its flagship events program, HGV Ultimate Access, which provides members exclusive access to concerts, celebrity meet-and-greets and more. Headquartered in Orlando, the company develops, markets and operates a system of brand-name vacation ownership resorts in vacation destinations.

Featuring indoor water park with slides, pools and water features, Great Wolf Lodge resorts are usually preferred among families looking for experiential travel options. The resorts also offer family-friendly attractions, such as a ropes course, mini-golf, family bowling and an arcade. The locations include complimentary entertainment offerings and dining and retail venues.

“With 19 resorts stretching from Southern California to New England, and three more opening within the next 14 months, we look to further enhance the travel options available to Hilton Grand Vacations members by providing a close, convenient and carefree resort experience, ideal for a family getaway,” said John Murphy, CEO of Great Wolf Resorts.

At present, Great Wolf Resorts has three resorts under construction – Great Wolf Lodge South Florida in Naples (late summer), Great Wolf Lodge Gulf Coast Texas in Webster (late summer/early fall) and a resort in Mashantucket, Conn. scheduled to open mid-2025.
