DA NANG, VIETNAM Hilton Worldwide announces the signing of a management agreement with local property developer Bach Dang Hotel Complex Trading Service Co. for a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Da Nang City in central Vietnam.
Already under construction, the 226-key, new-build Hilton Da Nang will be located in the port city that is the country’s third largest. The new hotel is the second Hilton property in Vietnam, joining Hilton Hanoi Opera, and Hilton increasingly views the country as a key growth target in the region.
“Da Nang is a thriving industrial city and an increasingly important tourism destination. Hilton Da Nang will appeal to both leisure and business travelers alike, and we are looking forward to bringing the refreshing hospitality we are known for throughout the world to Da Nang City,” says Dave Horton, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
The hotel will form part of a large, mixed-use development. The first tower will comprise a 25-story Hilton hotel, and a second tower will feature office and retail space as well as serviced apartments.
The hotel will offer an array of food and beverage outlets, including a stylish all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge featuring a café and a destination bar. Leisure facilities will include an outdoor swimming pool, a fully-equipped health club and a spa. The hotel’s meeting and banquet facilities include six meeting rooms and a 450-sq.-m ballroom.
Da Nang is considered a strategic gateway city to central Vietnam and also to other important Asia cities, as it has direct international routes to Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Osaka.
