Hilton Announces 2nd Waldorf Astoria For London

WEST LONDON, ENGLAND Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement with the Ability Group to open a new Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts hotel in West London. London Syon Park, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, is scheduled to open in November.

The 137-key hotel will offer state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities along with several destination restaurants and bars. A bespoke spa experience has also been developed for the property. Guests will have use of the park grounds, with exclusive year-round access to the Syon House gardens and activities including trout fishing.

The hotel will include some unusual features, like a butterfly house in the lobby and an ice-cream parlor. The hotel even has an exclusive agreement with celebrity surgeon Alex Karidis to offer guests discreet treatments.

The bar and restaurant concepts have been created by the Gorgeous Group, while Camillin Denny worked on the interior design of the 137 guestrooms.

London Syon Park will be the fourth Waldorf Astoria property to open in Europe, following The Bentley Hotel in London, Trianon Palace Versailles and Rome Cavalieri. Another Waldorf Astoria is due to open in Berlin in 2011.
