HEI Hotels & Resorts has added The Westin Poinsett in Greenville, S.C., to its portfolio, marking the company’s first managed property in the state and expanding its footprint in the Southeast.
The 200-room hotel sits on South Main Street in downtown Greenville, one block from the Peace Center. Originally opened in 1925, the property was renovated and reopened as a Westin in 2000 and was added to the Historic Hotels of America in 2002. The hotel features two historic ballrooms the Poinsett Ballroom and Gold Ballroom.
The Westin Poinsett is the second property HEI manages on behalf of Highline Hospitality Partners.
