Harrah’s, Victor Drai reportedly in talks for Strip hotel-casino

LAS VEGAS Nightclub impresario Victor Drai is reportedly in talks with Harrah’s Entertainment about launching an eponymous hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip, possibly at the current site of Harrah’s-owned Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon.

Citing an anonymous tipster, the blog VegasTripping.com has posted renderings of a proposed Drai’s Las Vegas that appear to use the shell of Bill’s, formerly known as Barbary Coast. Among the images are a nightclub, reminiscent of XS at Encore Las Vegas, along with a rooftop pool lounge.

Drai already operates Drai’s Afterhours club at Bill’s. Just last week, longtime business associate Steve Wynn cut ties with Drai, who conceptualized and oversaw the popular clubs Tryst at Wynn Las Vegas and XS.

The authenticity of the images has not been independently verified, and a Harrah’s spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment from HOTELS.
