Hard Rock rebranding Mexican resorts

Hard Rock International Inc., Orlando, Florida, announced on Wednesday that it signed an agreement with Palace Resorts LLC, Miami, to rebrand three all-inclusive resorts in Mexico.

The three hotels — the 601-room Hard Rock Cancun, 348-room Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta, and 1,266-room Hard Rock Riviera Maya — will open under the new brands in 2012.

“Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Maya and perennially popular Mexican vacation spots and a natural draw for Hard Rock patrons,” said Michael Shindler, Hard Rock’s executive vice president of hotels and casinos. “Our growing presence in Latin America, sparked by the upcoming Hard Rock Panama Megapolis, reflects the brand’s broader international growth strategy.”
