Hilton Worldwide announced on Thursday that its brand Hampton by Hilton signed a management deal to open a location in Mexico.
The 120-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Cuidad del Carmen in the state of Campeche, located on the western side of the Yucatan Peninsula, is scheduled to open later this year.
A notable feature of the hotel that is part of the brand’s new model for Latin America will be “the hub,” a zoned environment that provides facilities for working, mingling, relaxing and breakfast.
“We are delighted that we continue to add a number of architectural and design-focused hotels to our Latin America portfolio,” said Phil Cordell, head of Hilton focused service and Hampton brand management.
