GHA adds four more independent brands to portfolio

Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) has added four independent hotel brands to its portfolio, bringing 22 properties into the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty program. The new members are Almanac Hotels, Regal Hotels International, STORY Hotels & Resorts and TemptingPlaces Collection, expanding GHA’s presence across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The additions extend GHA’s reach into cities including Hong Kong, Barcelona, Vienna and Prague, while marking the alliance’s first entries into Zagreb, Croatia and Rabat, Morocco.

“Our continued expansion reflects the strength of our alliance proposition and the growing desire for collaboration within the independent sector,” said Chris Hartley, CEO of GHA. “With the addition of these eclectic brands, we are further diversifying our portfolio and the value we deliver to over 35 million GHA DISCOVERY members. Each of these hotel brands brings its own unique identity and character, enriching the alliance network.”

STORY Hotels & Resorts operates five properties across the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian Ocean, including STORY Seychelles at Beau Vallon Bay.

The Tempting Places Collection includes properties such as Château d’Augerville Golf & Spa Resort in France and Dent Blanche Resort in Switzerland.

Since January, existing GHA brands have added 14 hotels worldwide, including Capella Kyoto, Tivoli Palazzo Gaddi in Florence, Corinthia Rome, Anantara Kafue River Tented Camp in Zambia and Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel on Australia’s Sunshine Coast.
