Generator has appointed Xavier Mufraggi as CEO. Mufraggi joins the company as it enters its next phase of international growth, including three new openings and the renovation of flagship houses throughout 2026 and 2027 in London, Paris, Dublin and Hamburg. He joins Generator following Brookfield’s acquisition of the company in 2025.
Aiming to double its footprint by 2030, Generator will accelerate growth through the acquisition of centrally located hotels, including Novotel London Greenwich, alongside the adaptive reuse of offices, warehouses and government buildings.

Mufraggi brings over two decades of international experience to his new role. Over the course of his career, he has led businesses across hospitality, private equity and consumer brands, holding leadership roles in marketing, commercial and product development at Kraft Foods; serving as CEO of Club Med’s North America & Caribbean division for 10 years; as global managing director for Fosun Group; and CEO of YPO, a global CEO peer network, with more than 37,000 members across 150 countries.
