Franke’s New A Line receives iF DESIGN AWARD 2026

The New A Line by Franke Coffee Systems has been awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 in the Product Design discipline, recognizing its performance-driven design.

Across hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and high-traffic retail locations such as convenience and forecourt stores, operators must balance speed, customization and consistency. The New A Line is designed to meet these demands through an integrated system architecture that combines advanced brewing technology with intuitive operation powered by FrankeOS and a structured, image-led user interface.

Core structural components are produced from high-grade stainless steel, ensuring long-term performance and minimized waste over the machine’s lifecycle. Selected elements incorporate predominantly recycled plastics, balancing durability with environmental responsibility in material choices.

“With the New A Line, we set out to design a platform where premium in-cup quality, intuitive workflows, and system intelligence work seamlessly together. This award confirms that thoughtful design is not decoration—it is a driver of measurable performance and long-term value for our customers,” said Gianluca Vigato, VP, global marketing at Franke Coffee Systems.

Presented by the independent iF Design Foundation in Germany, the iF DESIGN AWARD is a globally respected design distinction. In 2026, more than 10,000 submissions from 68 countries were evaluated by an international jury of independent experts.

Since its global introduction, the New A Line has represented an evolution in Franke’s fully automatic portfolio. Designed with scalability in mind, it enables operators to protect brand standards, manage peak demand with confidence and expand their beverage offer without compromising speed, consistency or operational simplicity. Its modular platform and cohesive premium design provide a precise fit across diverse professional environments, while safeguarding in-cup quality.
