FORTH Atlanta, part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, has appointed Danielle Gilligan as general manager, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across full-service luxury hotels.
Gilligan joins the FORTH team from Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, Michigan, where she oversaw a 143-room property and led a multi-million-dollar renovation while managing a team of 175 associates.
Before the Royal Park Hotel, she served as general manager of The Westin Tempe, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts. Previously, she spent 3 years with Highgate and 17 years with Lowes Hotels in several roles.
Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects in collaboration with Method Studios, the 16-story FORTH Atlanta is located in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. It features a 196-room luxury boutique hotel, 39 residential suites, four food and beverage concepts, a rooftop lounge, a coastal-inspired poolside restaurant, a wellness center and a private members-only social club.
